The Vercelli Book is a unique Anthology of 23 Homilies and 6 poems written in Old English, probably copied in a Scriptorum in England, either in the late X th Century, or during the first half of the XI th Century AD. This means that the possible porter of this work to the Cathedral of Vercelli could have been Sigeric the Serious ( AD) himself.
